The Seven Churches• All churches existed in John’s time, and they were as described in John’s vision in Rev 2-3.• Throughout the Christian Era, there have been churches spiritually like each one of those churches.• But the Lord had chosen those specific churches even there are other churches in Asia Minor (like Thessalonica, Philippi & Colossi), and described them in that specific order, for a reason. As a Chiasm of Rev 11, “the Two Witnesses” (The Jews & the Gentile Churches).
