Behind the Scenes of PsycINFO: Coverage and Indexing

Published on

These slides are presented during one of our two webinars for librarians, but the material may also be useful to instructors, graduate and doctoral students, and others who work closely with PsycINFO and other APA Databases.

The session reviews the structure of APA Database records, covering the elements of the bibliographic citation, controlled vocabulary and indexing. It also reviews value-added fields, such as classification codes and tests and measures. To view sample searches, these slides link out to versions of the session recorded in the spring of 2015.

The original version of this file was updated and replaced on 9/9/16.

For more details and live links, download the presentation. (3.69MB, .pptx)
