  1. 1. HR360 examines HR in its local, national and global presence. How do other HR executives compare to you. How do other local HR executives, providers and professionals effect me. Do they effect me. What about the national scene and giant global players, start-ups and pretenders. How are we/they doing? Where did that HRO, ASO, PEO and outsourcing consultant go. Who has the technology to provide? Who has it and isn't talking about it yet. The economic downturns shattering some but others are soaring to new heights, how could they move in opposite directions. Global off-shoring of Human Resource information certainly exposes a user to more threats, yet the savings involved in processing of enormous books of payrolls can be very attractive. Scenario: A local company in which I met the owner of only nine days ago contacted me with this real situation at 3:45 pm today. I don't know the answer and as you can see his own analysis is leading, yet accurately documented. Situation: If your employee that is treated for a chronic illness, requires prescriptions for a triple or more combination of drugs to treat a world wide common condition and their combo is of a unusual nature. (Less then 1% of a particular gender are prescribed it.) This employee has been on the medication combo for 5 1/2 years.
  2. 2. The employee works for a firm that contracted the services of a national payroll provider about a year and a half ago. In January of 2009 the payroll firm began a well planned conversion using off-shore payroll provisons of particular firms based upon size, geography, demographics, types of occupations, frequency of pay and a host of other motivators. During the last week of March 2009 the employee has begun to receive telephone solicitations to purchase the drug combo from a another source, overseas, on the same continent as Offshore outsource provider and solicitor can quote type, generics once used, mg level and specific type and time of application frequency. (one of them can be taken oral, injected or applied with a topo-adhesive to forearm). Question: How do you suppose this obvious info breach occurred? Where did it occur ? (just opinion) It will likely never be known, but I'd like to hear some scenarios I've not thought of.
