School TimesO Playground opens/supervised at 8:15 amO Bell rings/school starts at 8:30 amO Balanced day (3 learning blocks)O 1st Nutrition Break 10:10-10:50 amO 2nd Nutrition Break 12:40-1:20 pmO 20 minutes eating, 20 minutes outdoor playO Dismissal at 2:50 pmO Outdoor Supervision provided until 3:05 pm
  8. 8. VolunteeringO Volunteers are welcome!O Must have a valid Police CheckO Trips, school events, in class assistance
  9. 9. TransportationO Parents will be notified in August of bus information (stop locations, times)O Eligible for First Rider ProgramO Any student living south of Binbrook Road andeast of Highway 56 willqualify for transportation

  12. 12. Child CareO Available at the schoolO Provided by Umbrella FamilyO Currently have enough for 3 classes (2 kindergarten aged and 1 school-aged)O Wait list has started, new classes will be added if needed

Allergies & Student SafetyO Student safety is paramountO We do have students with severe allergies to a variety of allergens (nuts, foods, animals)O Allergen safe schoolO Information package sent home in registration packageO Reminders throughout the yearO No nuts, nut products (peanut butter), sesame seeds, shellfish

SupervisionO Nutrition Breaks-Indirect supervisionO Kinder Crew assist and play with studentsO Outdoor Play-Junior Kindergarten students play inside the fenced JK play area with direct teacher supervisionO Senior Kindergarten students will be on the playground with the rest of the student body
