If a program needs to update their web page, please contact Kerrie in the GME Office. Fellowship Web Page Update Some programs have NOT developed and posted a web page for their program. Kerrie Jordan in the GME Office will provide technical assistance with web development. The program director is responsible for the content. REMINDER ~ Paperwork required for all outside Rotators The new form introduced at the September 21, 2006, meeting, “The Children’s Mercy Hospital Resident/Fellow Information Form,” must be completed by all rotating residents and fellows. All supporting documents must be attached to the info form and copies provided to the GME Office prior to the resident/fellow arriving at CMH. Supporting documents include, but are not limited to, a copy of the residents/fellows Missouri Medical License, DEA, BNDD, and ECFMG (as applicable). New mandate is that if the 1

Fellowship Coordinator’s Meeting January 11, 2007; Community Room Meeting Minutes information is not received by the GME Office at least 1 week prior to the scheduled rotation, the rotator will not be allowed to start. New Innovations Presentation & Training Dates New software to track resident, fellows, rotators, and medical students is in the final stages of implementation and training is scheduled for February 20, 21, & 22, 2007 at Hallmark building from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Contracts & Information for New Fellows The GME Office will be sending out packets to all new fellows whom are starting their fellowship on or after July 1, 2007. A copy of the initial acceptance letter needs to be sent to Kerrie in the GME Office. The welcome packet will include a welcome letter, Missouri License application, DEA Application, BNDD Application, contract, and HR paperwork. All materials will be returned to the GME Office. New Fellow Orientation New Fellow Orientation is scheduled for July 2007. The exact date has not been confirmed, but will be by the next scheduled meeting. The next Fellowship Coordinator meeting is schedule for February 8, 2007, from 12-1pm in Hiways. Meeting adjourned at 12:45pm 2
