  5. 5. 6 7 Cinema On-screen & off-screen opportunities “On-screen” advertising is integrated into our global cinema approach At Posterscope, we consider cinema as a very specific out-of-home communication environment, providing a qualitative context for brands to start a conversation with the consumers. People go to the cinema to live a social and entertaining experience. They are more receptive to the messages aimed to them and more likely to respond positively. Of course not everyone goes to the cinema, but its recent digitalization delivers new contents which brings in a new audience and enlarges the socio-demographic profile of the typical cine spectator. Nowadays, cinema and more particularly “multiplexes” offers a great variety of advertising formats ranging from posters to brand activation and enabling the stimulation of all five human senses. OCS is designed to get a better understanding of people’s behavior and attitude towards out-of-home to achieve the optimum consumer connection.   6. 6. 8 9 The new CIM Out-of-Home study is based on a new ‘hybrid’ methodology integrating traditional survey data and other, ‘big data’ sources, among which census data, official mobility surveys and traffic counts, and independently collected road traffic data. The virtual population database describes the whole Belgian population aged 12+ and their demographics, on the one hand, and a full week of their travel information (roads used, day, time, mode of transport, motive) on the other hand. Together with the classification and location of the whole Belgian panels inventory, the demographics and travel data allow to calculate the delivery of networks or ad-hoc selections of panels. But this study goes one step further than the metrics traditionally associated with media analytics: reach, frequency, contacts or GRP. Indeed, this study aims to measure actual eye contacts, instead of the traditional potential contacts. Out-of-Home Recent developments Out-of-Home Recent developments Street Street Furniture - JCDecaux • JCDecaux took the new CIM OOH Study as an opportunity to prepare the future of audience – based media measurement. From 2018, JCDecaux 2m² National Offer will be performances - based and no longer side – based. Guaranteed VRP based on target 18-54 will be the reference to build well-balanced national 2m² networks: JCDecaux VRP National network; • The media owner will also gradually integrate their won tenders into its 2m² Offer: - From January to May (week 1 to 21): Kappelen 2m² will be integrated; - From June to August (week 22 to 35): Digital Liège will be intergrated; - September to December (week 36 to 52): Uccle 2m² will be integrated; • As mentionned, JCDecaux will add 25 new street digital screens 75’’ in Liège City Center from week 22 / 2018; • JCDecaux renews and enriches its targeted street 2m² offer with new pre- custom and customized networks: - 13 different VRP National 2m² POI Networks; - FMCG 2m² Networks; - Fully 2m² Customized Networks. Street Furniture - Clear Channel • City Play digital network is expanding with 3 new localities: Diest, Tienen and Oostende; • City Play’s digital screens will be integrated into 2m² networks: - Opti Play: 2.400 sides 2m² + 112 screens 75’’ (10% digital SOV); - Maxi Play: 2.700 sides 2m² + 112 screens 75’’ (10% digital SOV); - Local Brussels networks. Proximity • JCDecaux Insert decreases the number of frames 60x80cm but 35 digital screens 75’’ in Brussels will be integrated into Insert Networks. Billboards • JCDecaux wins the advertising contract for 8 & 20m² billboards of Publifer for a 3 years duration. This contract refers to 163 sides (owned by Publifer and commercialized by Belgian Posters) which will reinforce the JCDecaux national billboards offer; • No change for Belgian Posters Offer. XXL • New permanent LED screen 87m² at the north entrance of Brussels (Van Praet) from Clear Channel; • New XXL/Mobile opportunity from Mobilad: The ‘Big Box’ is a 80m² fully wrapped truck to place where ever you want to create surprise, impact or reach locations usually not covered by others OOH displays; • Mediafield launches ‘The Swall’: a 40m² double-sided mobile billboard, the small version of the Skyboard (180m²) and The Wall (60m²). • Publifer extends its digital national network (DNN) by adding 8 new screens and 4 new stations to reach a total of 130 screens 70’’ across 23 stations; • The media owner also extends its 2m² national network by adding 20 new sides and 6 new stations to reach 600 sides across 50 stations; • In Q4 / 2018, 5 key long-term XXL displays will be replaced by digital solutions. Out-of-Home Recent developments Out-of-Home Recent developments • JCDecaux extends its DOOH Malls network by adding 14 screens and 2 new locations (Rive Gauche - Charleroi / Docks - Brussels) to reach 148 screens across 26 Shopping Malls; • JCDecaux launches The Mint: a new permanent LED screen 15m² located at the entrance of the new Mint Shopping Mall in Brussels (Place de la Monnaie) and Metro entrance. Shopping Malls • HighCo extends its national indoor digital network Vision Kiosk with 20 new screens and 11 new locations to reach 137 screens 55’’ in 94 Carrefour POS; • From 2018, JCDecaux integrates Digital F1 Carrefour network into its SmartBRICS platform, an automatic audience-based planning tool focused on the client’s briefing and based on CPM pricing (no more seasonal indexes); • Store Media launches a new indoor doors stickering offer in Carrefour POS. Retail Brightfish upgrades its Cineposter Offer: • New digital 48’’ static screens located in 9 Kinepolis will be added to the classic Cineposter 2m² paper network to reach a total of 270 sides including 29 static digital screens across 18 national multiplexes; • Cineposter Touch: A new digital network will be launch in 2018 including totems with 55’’ digital dynamic, interactive and touch screens across 11 Kinepolis Cinemas. Cinema • Sharing Box, new actor in the OOH landscape, launches a new branded Photobooths network enabling to broadcast a digital spot on screens and to share branded digital pictures. These boxes are currently located in Brussels, Liège and Namur in leisure touchpoints (bars, restaurants, sports clubs, cultural venues). Leisure • JCDecaux renews its advertising contract in Brussels Airport for the next 7 years and a brand new digital offer is available from January 2018. Airport • IP Luxembourg won the advertising contract for the new tram line at Kirchberg in Luxembourg-Ville. The media owner has installed 86 new 2m² sides at tram stops and 56 digital screens into trams. • JCDecaux won the advertising contract in railway stations in Luxembourg (CFL) for the next 8 years. CFL railway network counts 24 national stations with more than 22,5mio travelers per year. The media owner will launch a brand new offer from Q3 / 2018: - New 2m² networks mixing street & stations; - Digitalization of Luxembourg-Ville station; - New long-term XXL formats. Luxembourg 14 15

Clear Channel Connect Clear Channel Belgium is the first operator to introduce three permanent interactive networks equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) and Quick Response (QR) technologies. NFC enables consumers to interact with a poster site thanks to the NFC chip contained in their smartphone. The launch of these networks makes OOH interactive and even more mobile. It puts OOH online and allows advertisers to develop a closer relationship with consumers. JCDecaux Swarm Every JCD 2m² panel is now located on Swarm offering advertisers the opportunity to cross both off- and online campaign. Through a simple check-in at a poster site containing the Swarm logo, consumers can now directly interact with the advertised brand. Out-of-Home Convergent features Out-of-Home Convergent features JCDecaux iBeacons 250 JCD street 2m² panels (from Authentic Lady network) are now equipped with the iBeacon technology. Beacons are fast becoming the technology of the moment. Different kind of sectors are all harnessing the benefits of using these small, wireless devices, to very different ends. Beacons are a type of low-cost, micro- location-based technology that uses Bluetooth low energy (BLE 4.0) to communicate with mobile devices. They offer brands the ability to get to know target audiences and their preferences better through location and interaction data. This enables marketers to serve locally-relevant content or vouchers on people’s mobile phones or push notifications through to build loyalty programmes. With the introduction of Beacons across the globe in so many different environments, global consumer adoption is looking like it will be relatively fast-paced. JCDecaux Buzzyfy Buzzyfy is a tool from JCDecaux that enables to analyse specific public audience’s conversations on social networks close to JCD furniture. These collected data can give additional insights on a target but also enrich the ‘point of interest (POI)’ geographical approach for customized networks. Thanks to this tool, JCDecaux introduces a digital ‘retargeting’ offer enabling brands to retarget their audience in proximity of JCD OOH campaign via social media. 16 17
