Why go to a chiropractor if i don’t have back pain
Why go to a Chiropractor if I don’t haveback pain? This is a question I often gets asked in my Peoria Chiropractic office. Why would anyone go toa chiropractor if they didnt have pain? Chiropractors only treat aches, pains, andinjuries...right? Not exactly. While as a Chiropractor I treat people with musculoskeletal achesand pains every day, Chiropractic adjustments actually have much deeper overall healthimplications than just treating aches and pains. When joints of the spine get misaligned it causesa couple of different things to go on. First, this can pinch on nerve. Pinching a nerve is aproblem because it causes pain, but more importantly because that nerve supplies something inour body. It is the main communication line from our brain and spinal cord (central nervoussystem) to EVERY cell, tissue, and organ in our body. If this communication is compromisedthe body is prone to health problems. Its very difficult to know when a joint is misaligned asmany times the nerve that is irritated may not cause pain. As a Peoria Chiropractor I am trainedto find these misalignments and correct them. Correcting misalignements of the spine allows thebody to have full communication between the body and the central nervous system. With nointerference between the body and the central nervous system the body is in great shape to run to100% potential. This can mean felling 100%, ability to fight off common bugs that are goingaround because your Immune system is running at top shape, and the ability to make suredegenerative problems are not developing because of proper biomechanics. WHEN THENERVOUS SYSTEM IS HEALTHY.....THE BODY IS HEALTHY. Here is a cool studyshowing the benefits of getting adjusted regularly even when you are not in pain.
