  6. 7. In March 2007 <ul><li>Fontys PTH announced they </li></ul><ul><ul><li>rented an island in Second Life for the period of one year and </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>were looking for other Fontys departments/institutions to join them. </li></ul></ul>
  7. 8. Why join PTH in SL? <ul><li>To be there! </li></ul><ul><li>To observe and learn from them and others </li></ul><ul><li>To conduct small experiments </li></ul><ul><li>Limited costs involved </li></ul>
  8. 9. Be there <ul><li>You need land to build </li></ul><ul><li>You need land to stream audio / video </li></ul><ul><li>You easily get lost without a home in SL </li></ul>
