Interesting perspective re national debt

Published on

Debt is a reflection of a country's health and well-being. Excessive debt cripples a nation to the point that it can no longer repair itself, take advantage of opportunities or progress in the right direction. Nations are no different than families. The same ills that befall and affect families plague entire nations. Several European nations are going through that learning curve right now and the US is getting ready to learn the same lesson as well. Politicians have no consciousness and no integrity. They would gladly saddle a nation with an ugly debt just to make themselves look good (so they can get re-elected). They tell us they are on our side and they are doing all these great things for us, but the truth is that none of it is true.

  7. 7. But It’s Not Just Our National Debt That Is Messed Up There are some other things we need to worry about 7

  9. 9. 9
  10. 10. 10
  11. 11. Contributing Factors To Our National Debt 11
  12. 12. Key Income Factors Income is down because: • We have become a service economy • We went crazy with Outsourcing and Offshoring • We allowed too many illegal aliens in our country (taking away our own jobs) • We love automation and computerization 12
  13. 13. Key Debt Factors 1. Wars and The War Machine 2. Socialistic tendencies --- similar to European countries 3. Tolerance of “The Illegal Alien Problem” (another form of Socialistic expression and total apathy towards the problem) 4. Lousy politicians that are as greedy as the corporate CEOS … and everybody else 13
  14. 14. Wars And The War Machine 14
  15. 15. Proper Explanation • When a nation is a Super Power and a world leader then wars are necessary. It comes with the territory • However, the US has taken its role a little too far. It is now reaching levels of paranoia. The mentality that “Everyone is out to get us!” is totally ridiculous. Unfortunately, no politician wants to be blamed for another 9/11, although everyone knows that “Shit Happens!” 15
  16. 16. Assertion • To spend a ton of money to prevent the inevitable is moronic, but no one wants to argue this point in a super litigious society. We keep penalizing our society with laws, rules, regulations, preventive measure that drive costs up, and harm society. We are trying to create a utopian society, just to deal with our paranoias 16
  17. 17. The American Utopian Society • 100% safe ---- protected from all internal and external dangers and threats • 100% problem-free • 100% risk-free • 100% crime-free • 100% error-free • 100% misery-free 17
  18. 18. Isn’t This Lovely? How can one possibly argue against that? 18
  19. 19. Reality • All the money in the world cannot deliver the utopian society – The utopian society is unachievable --- it will never exist because evil people will always find a way to destroy or damage whatever we create. It is impossible to safeguard our own creations – Utopian society means losing most personal freedoms … and people do not really want that. We don’t want a Police State 19
  20. 20. Evil Is Part Of Our Duality There are no civilizations, societies, cultures or religions that do not recognize the existence and power of evil. 20
  21. 21. This Is NOT The Answer To Fight Evil! 21
  22. 22. “We are not like those other primitive countries. Look at us!” We don’t kill people, but we certainly have the highest number of jails and inmates in the western world. 22
  23. 23. “Besides we have other means of dealing with the public!” 23
  24. 24. The Sick Logic 24
  25. 25. “Moreover, we have ways to deal with our enemies” 25
  26. 26. “It only costs money! Ignore the blood! We can wash it off!” 26
  27. 27. Remember Eisenhower • Dwight Eisenhower warned us that: “In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.” 27

  32. 32. “We are certainly addressing all the right problems in the Armed Forces” 32
  33. 33. “The future looks very bright!” 33
  34. 34. Socialism Explained The Right Way Socialism promotes it’s own version of utopia! 34
  35. 35. Socialistic Reality 35
  36. 36. Socialism Has It’s Good Side … as long as the money if there to support all the good ideas. 36

  38. 38. 38
  39. 39. Is this man truly a genius? 39
  40. 40. A Class Experiment • An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an “A” .... (substituting grades for dollars - something closer to home and more readily understood by all). 40
  41. 41. The Experiment (cont’d) • After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a “B”. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an “F” 41
  42. 42. The Experiment (cont’d) • As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. • To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. It could not be any simpler than that. 42
  43. 43. Lessons Learned • You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. • What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. • The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. • You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! 43
  44. 44. Lessons Learned • When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation. 44
  45. 45. Tolerance Of The Illegal Alien Problem 45
  46. 46. Why We Are Going Bankrupt • We are involved into too many wars around the globe (we are engaged in secret wars in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East) • We are paying for all the illegal alien costs. We think we are saving money by paying them low wages, but look at the real cost (see next 8 pages and: ) 46 Total Cost: $338.3 Billions/yr
  47. 47. Why We Are Going Bankrupt 1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year. 2. $2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens. http://www.cisorg/articles/2004/ ml 47
  48. 48. Why We Are Going Bankrupt 3. $2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens. http://www.cisorg/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html 4. $12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English. 1/ldt.0.html 48
  49. 49. Why We Are Going Bankrupt 5. $17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies. 01/ldt.01.html 6. $3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens. 01/ldt.01.html 49
  50. 50. Why We Are Going Bankrupt 7. 30% percent of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens. 01/ldt.01.html 8. $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare and Social Services by the American taxpayers. ldt.01.html 50
  51. 51. Why We Are Going Bankrupt 9. $200 Billion Dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens. 01/ldt.01.html 10.The illegal aliens in the US have a crime rate that's 2.5 times that of white non-illegal aliens. Their children most likely are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the future. 12/ldt.01.html 51
  52. 52. Why We Are Going Bankrupt 11.During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroin and marijuana, crossed into the U. S from the Southern border. Homeland Security Report. 52
  53. 53. Why We Are Going Bankrupt 12.The National Policy Institute, "estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.” tation.pdf 53
  54. 54. Why We Are Going Bankrupt 13.In 2006 illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances back to their countries of origin. 14."The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration: Nearly One Million Sex Crimes Committed by Illegal Immigrants In The United States“ 54

  58. 58. Some Interesting Statistics • Salary of retired US Presidents .........$180,000 for life • Salary of House/Senate ....................$174,000 for life • Salary of Speaker of the House .........$223,500 for life • Salary of Majority/Minority Leaders .$193,400 for life • Average salary of a teacher ................ $40,065 • Average salary of soldier deployed in Afghanistan …………$38,000 58
  59. 59. Case Study: Greece 59
  60. 60. First Some Facts • Socialist Government for almost 40 years • 50% of the population working for the Government • The Government offered better salaries and outrageous benefits (incl. long vacations and free health care and early retirement) Who is going to complain? Who is going to say “No thank you!”? 60
  61. 61. The Answer • No one complained and no one said “No, thank you!” • WHY? • Because everyone wants “free stuff”. No one bothered to tell them that there are no “free stuff”. No one bothered to tell them that sooner or later they will have to pay for all that 61
  62. 62. Key Realization Demagoguery  Socialism • It is based on the simple concept of “Promise them anything and they will vote for you!” 62
  63. 63. The Results (as of early 2012) • Shrinking GDP (at least 7% down) • 22+% unemployment rate – 50+% unemployment rate for those under 30 years old • 25% of all companies went bankrupt • 40+% increase in the suicide rate • Foreign dependency is at an all time high • Global ridicule and eternal scorn 63
  64. 64. And That Is Not All 64 Anger turns into destruction, which makes the debt even worse
  65. 65. And The Worst Is Yet To Come 65
  66. 66. The Future 66
  67. 67. Foreign Dependency Is Great! 67
  68. 68. Do The Greeks Blame Themselves? • OF COURSE NOT. It’s always a global conspiracy that it is at fault. It is the dark forces that made them stupid and elected the worst politicians on the planet The biggest demagogue in Greece (from a long line of demagogues --- runs in the family) 68 Papandreou
  69. 69. Let’s Blame Them They made us do it! 69 or
  70. 70. Summary 70
  71. 71. Key Reminder • A nation must create real wealth … not transferring money from one pocket to the next 71
  72. 72. Creating Wealth • Mining • Farming • Manufacturing • Inventing (technology, biomed, aerospace …) Selling hamburgers, insurance policies and other services to each other do not create real wealth. Government services subtract wealth! 72
