  2. 2. Avery Dennison SNAP 700 and SNAP 700 RFID Printers The SNAP 700 is an easily operated, reliable and economical printer which produces a wide variety of apparel and retail tags, labels and tickets. A two-side printer benefiting from a 127mm/5” wide print capability, and near edge print head technology, the SNAP 700 allows high speed ticket and sticker printing at 12ips or 300mm per second (when using the correct ink). With voice-assisted operation and maintenance prompts in seven languages, the SNAP 700 supports print production in all major apparel producing regions. A demonstration video can be viewed at The Avery Dennison SNAP 700 is also available with RFID technology. The SNAP 700 RFID has all the benefits of the SNAP 700 but also incorporates Gen2 RFID Technology, making it the next generation ticket and tag printer with the capability to read and write RFID tags. Gen2 RFID Technology enables products to be identified uniquely down to individual item level and tracked throughout the supply chain. The SNAP 700 RFID has been entered for the IMB Show Innovation Award. Avery Dennison Bonder Model HS70 TRR The Model HS70 TRR is an automatic roll-to-roll heat transfer bonder designed for a wide range of roll transfer applications. This model loads readily, uses an easy-set electric eye for label registration and works rapidly for highly efficient and productive garment labelling. Compact, durable, reliable and easy to use, the HS70 TRR is the most efficient way to seal a label or decoration to a finished garment. The speed of operation is dependent on the quality of the heat transfers and fabric in use and how quickly the next garment can be loaded. In order to improve the throughput, the HS70 TRR uses a dual heat system, applying heat to the top and bottom of the application thus reducing seal time. The HS70 TRR requires no specialist training and is simple to maintain. Avery Dennison 3002T Recycled Polyester Woven-Edge Satin Tape Avery Dennison’s new 3002T recycled polyester woven-edge satin tape is the perfect choice for brands and retailers who are conscious of their environmental impact. This polyester woven-edge satin tape is made from yarn derived from recycled plastic bottles and can be used in a variety of applications, from baby- wear to outerwear. It is a two-sided satin tape, which combines sustainability with premium label performance. These labels offer superior quality, are soft to the touch and durable through domestic wash processes.
  3. 3. Avery Dennison Heat Transfer Labels Avery Dennison will also exhibit the latest ECO Stretch Transfers, which are 100% water-based, PVC free and Öko-Tex Standard 100 Product Class One approved. These labels are therefore suitable for a wide range of skin contact applications. In addition, Avery Dennison will display Digital High-Definition Transfers. These labels allow the customers to combine size data, care content, colour-by-size, micro printing and even bar codes and product codes with dynamic multicolour heat transfer graphics. This gives users the ability and flexibility to enhance merchandising. Avery Dennison will display the productivity, efficiency and innovation of its bespoke solutions at stand B050/C053, in Hall 8.1 at the IMB Show, Cologne, between April 21 – 24, 2009.
