In 2008, the Rugby League World Cup application not only streamed all the matches live, it scored them and processed the match stats real-time as well.

AFL<br />Brief<br />With 2m+ visitors per month, AFL.com.au is the most popular sports site in Australia. C4 was required to architect a solution for the AFL network, which also includes 16 club sites, that enables the site to scale to cater for a peak load of 80,000 users per hour, while still delivering a rich, award winning design with high-end functionality to an extremely passionate fan base.<br />Solution<br />C4 rebuilt the AFL site and 16 club sites from the ground up in late 2007. This included a totally new IA/design, a major overhaul of the CMS and the implementation of new hosting infrastructure, not to mention the addition of new statistical data functionality which is without peer in Australia.<br />Results<br />The AFL site was delivered for the 2008 season on budget and on time and to spec, with an impressed client and, just as importantly, a happier audience.<br />
NRL<br />Brief<br />In 2007, BigPond leased the rights to the NRL.com property, leaving C4 with a new set of creative and technical objectives in order to make the site bigger and better, with more statistical analysis, more video and more opportunities for NRL fans to interact.<br />Solution<br />C4 re-architected the whole site in order to improve overall performance and usability, while also enabling new aesthetic possibilities. New Scores and News pages have made browsing for related content much easier, while statistics pages allow users to sort player and aggregate team statistics by round and by club to offer the most comprehensive dissection of the sport available.<br />Results<br />NRL live scores continues to draw a large audience despite the ubiquity of televised matches, and the site's Fantasy League and Tipping applications are bigger than ever.<br />

Energy Australia<br />BriefFollowing the success of the Energy Efficiency Centre install, Energy Australia approached C4 to develop a web site for the centre. To help manage the increasing number of delegates wishing to visit the centre C4 proposed the development of a delegate management and registration system to compliment the site.<br />SolutionC4 developed a full web strategy to market the site internally, deliver the message of the Energy Efficiency Centre externally and provide information on the centre. The web site shows the centre as a technological showcase by incorporating flash 360 walkthroughs and interactive maps. The site also gives delegates and VIPs a user friendly system to register their interest in visiting the EEC. A full delegate registration and management system was also built for the site and was delivered to help administrators manage the growing demand.<br />ResultsThe site was received with great acclaim by Energy Australia.<br />
Cisco "Imagine If" Campaign<br />Brief<br />CISCO approached C4 to develop a through the line marketing campaign to promote their suite of communications solutions with an emphasis on collaboration.<br />Solution<br />C4 developed a range of communication solutions for CISCO including an interactive web presence, pre-marketing event campaigns, e-marketing strategies, live artist collaborations, launch event and direct media including rich viral components.<br />The one of a kind web site utilises CISCO's event centre software giving users the ability to log on and take part in a live collaboration involving an award winning photo journalist and artists. Users uploaded their images and instructed the artist on how they should be used within a larger piece of artwork.<br />Results<br />This campaign received some truly amazing pieces of artwork created collaboratively with users. CISCO have since re-engaged C4 to continue this campaign, but this time focusing on a new target market.<br />
Travelex<br />Brief<br />To offer the online purchase of foreign exchange products offered by Travelex in a secure environment that integrates with highly secure and complex legacy client business systems.<br />Solution<br />The site provides users with the ability to securely buy over 35 foreign currencies online for collection at a specific store location. Customers can also check live currency rates, locate stores and view product and services information.<br />Results<br />Since launch in Dec 2008, average transaction sales have increased by 25% and traffic is averaging 1600 unique visitors a day.<br />
