  3. 3. Personal Empowerment – <br />Webster: The process of supporting another person or persons to discover and claim personal power.<br />

  5. 5. Mission:<br />Create a supportive community for Individuals with brain injury and Caregivers through development of trained Mentors and knowledgeable staff and community.<br />Objective:<br />Match, Train and Support Mentors to assist Mentees reach <br />

What is Project PEER?<br />We provide trained mentors who are prepared to help <br />individuals with brain injury and caregivers develop their <br />own personal futures plan and then find the skills, resources <br />and support to reach those goals. <br />We empower those affected by brain injury <br />through leadership development, healthy living skills and <br />Social skills for the workplace training. By utilizing <br />professionals/families with brain injuries to lead these <br />interactive workshops, participants will relate and create <br />valuable long-lasting relationships.<br />
