Was asked to present at Learnography's inaugural Brunchography event. This presentation covered what is happening in the mobile learning space, how businesses can begin to move in this direction and 3 tips they can put to practice right away when designing for mobile.

Please share your thoughts and comments with us at Counter Design Studio on LinkedIn or Twitter (@counterdstudio). Would love to hear how mobile is being used in your business for training and enablement.

  • Penny, I like your presentation. A few suggestions for the future work. 1. Change the title; when I read the title without watching your presentation, my first impression was that you don’t believe in mobile learning. 2. This decade is called mobile learning. It is not always working because we forget that new technology without new methodology results in poor teaching being delivered faster and more efficiently. For example, example, in the field of learning foreign languages we have hundreds of mobile apps; however, they are based on the old methodology of passive learning and are not effective enough. 3. Mobile apps should be written specifically for mobile devices and should not be transferred from old programs, PC or books. When designing a mobile app for learning foreign languages use the new methodology of Active Learning to ensure success with digital natives.
