  25. 25. About the Test Hardware  Dell PowerEdge R730 server  2x Xeon 2.3GHz – 12 Cores/24 Threads (E52670 v3)  384 GB DDR4 RDIMM at 1866 MHZ  Local Storage using Flash  vSphere 6.0b with default configuration  VMware Horizon 6.0 was used to deploy the desktop pool
  26. 26. About the Test VM’s  The knowledge worker workload  2 vCPU / 2 GB Mem per VM  For both Windows 7 & 10 the x64 version is used  Office 2013 x86  Windows and Office fully patched  Internet Explorer 11  Stateful VM’s & local profiles
  27. 27. About the Test Method  All tests are 100% automated  Every test is repeated 10x  Between every test the hosts are fully rebooted  After each reboot the host is idled for 15 minutes  All tests are executed in Login VSI’s Direct Desktop Mode
