  1. 1. CARRCentritech Separation Systems UniFuge®Features:■ Single-use, disposable module ■ Integrated cart■ No CIP or SIP ■ Intuitive software■ Fully automated ■ Low shear processing■ High cell recovery rates ■ Minimal reduction in viability of recovered cells■ Mammalian and insect cell processing ■ State-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Clearwater, FL
  2. 2. CARRCentritech Separation Systems UniFuge® Feed in The Next Wave in Cell Concentrate out Supernatant out Bioprocess HarvestingCARRCentritech’s new UniFuge® from Pneumatic Scale Angelus utilizes a gamma irradiated, single-use module which requires NO CIP, and NO SIP. All process contact surfaces are easy to install and are 100% replaceable after each run. Low shear harvesting of mammalian and insect cells is possible and minimal reduction in viability of recoveredcells is acheivable. Since the cells are not lysed, production of cell debrisin the centrifuge is minimized, making the UniFuge® an excellent choice for both cell recovery or centrate clarification. UniFuge® modules are readily tube welded to your single use bioreator connections, or can be connected with the attached sanitary quick connect fittings. The UniFuge® is completely automated with flexible cycle parameterentry. The feed suspension is gently pumped to the module and the cells settle to the outer radius while the clear supernatant is continuouslydischarged. Once the module has filled with cells, the controller stops the rotor and discharges the cells. This cycle is repeated until the whole bioreator volume has been processed.
