Large Truck Distracted Driving Regulations  January 27, 2010: Guidance was issued prohibiting truck drivers from texting while driving.  October 27, 2010: The texting prohibition was incorporated into the regulations and strong penalties were added.  January 3, 2012: The regulation prohibited truck drivers from holding, reaching, or dialing a cell phone went into effect.
