The fundamentals of the Athlete Performance Model program
What is special about this program? There are many performance improvement programs in
the marketplace. However, the AHPM program utilizes the same high-performance skills,
attitudes and values that the world-class athletes use, ensuring you see noticeable performance
improvement results.
Here are some of the things you can expect from the AHPM program:
Strategic implementation
Many times companies hire consultants that come in and tell them what they should do, leaving
them with a long list of to-dos, and that’s it. In today’s modern business world of global
competition, companies cannot afford to invest in these types of resources and receive nothing
in return. I work directly with your people to ensure the program is strategically designed and
implemented.
Immediate practical application
Knowledge is not power. It’s only potential power until it is applied. Through the use of adult
learning principles, participants of my workshops learn and apply high-performance mental
skills, values and attitudes using experiential learning methodologies. This allows for the
deepest understanding of the athletic high-performance theories and their practical application.
Participants leave these workshops with the ability to start improving their performance the very
next day.
Developing high-performance employees in not a sprint but a marathon. These programs run
anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on the size of the company and the specific
performance challenges and opportunities they face.

Here’s what you’ll have when the program is done:
1. A performance strategy built around sustaining performance improvement throughout your
company.
The purpose of any training and coaching program is to see an improvement in performance
and bottom line results. The performance strategies you receive will ensure people and
teams stay on track towards elevating their performance with the flexibility to adjust to new
market opportunities.
2. The ability to remain innovative and ahead of your competition.
Imagine your competition struggling with similar performance challenges and trying the
traditional approaches to improve business performance, with only incremental results or a

leadership training program for your leadership team. There they will acquire the practical

human talent. Typically, people only use a fraction of their skills at work. They
compartmentalise and do what they need to do to get by. I use a powerful method of

What’s in the program?
The AHPM program has 3 components. You can sign up for one or two if you wish, but the most
transformational performance results come from utilizing all three.
High-performance consulting
These days many companies hire consultants but when the consultants leave, the leaders are
left with a list of to-dos and no strategy. They sift through the recommendations and often

realize most of the recommendations are programs and tactic they have already tried without
much success.
Actus high-performance consultants work directly with employees at various levels within a
company to gain a clear understanding of the performance challenges and not just the
symptoms. Then a customized high-performance Actus Human Performance Model action plan
is created to deliver a very specific and focused performance solution that will have an
immediate business impact within the company when implemented and sustained.
Full engagement performance instruction
This is a series of high-performance workshops founded on the mental skills, values and
attitudes high-performance athletes use. The workshops are conducted over a course of a few
weeks and are designed for 8-12 participants.
We use adult learning principles and experiential learning methodologies, ensuring that
participants truly learn and apply high-performance mental skills, values and attitudes.
Participants leave these workshops with the ability to start improving their performance
immediately.
High-performance coaching
Once the training is completed, all participants will receive one-on-one coaching where they will
implement the new performance skills and track their improved performance results. Leaders
and managers who participated in the program will receive specialized and customized
performance coaching focusing on the skills required to manage and lead a high-performance
organization.
Depending on the nature of the performance challenge, coaching session lasts from 3 to12
months. We establish metrics and tracking throughout the coaching session to ensure skills are
used consistently, and organization’s goals and objectives are being achieved.

organizations with at least 100 people.
