I have spent over 16 years in pathological research and clinical applications and hold a PhD in Health Related Sciences from VCU. I am currently working towards a graduate Certificate in ID through University of Wisconsin Stout. I believe effective teaching comes from a combination of sound instructional design, understanding of learning theories, best practices in teaching and effective use of technology.
