Verbal communication skills:When you’re having a conversation with someone or a groupof people It’s when someone is making a noise for anotherperson .to listen to. There are many other types of verbalcommunication skills for example• cheering at a rugby/football match,• screaming at a concert,• Etc…Non-Verbal communication skills:None Verbal communication is the opposite to verbalcommunication skills, instead of making noise it is when you’renot allowed to make noise. This is usually sign language, otherbody language or texting.
Examples of good communication skills• Sign language- For people with no hearing.• Body language- Dancing.• Texting- Instead of speaking.• Speaking- Telling someone something.• Gesture- Swearing.• Posture- Standing a certain way to tell someonesomething.• Eye contact- Looking at some ones eyes to showyou’re interested.• Facial Expressions- Frowning.• Sound- Making a noise to alert someone.• Touch- Tapping someone to get their attention.
Consequences of bad communication skills:• Might not be able to get a job easily• Might not be able to make friends easily, peoplemight think you’re ignorant.• Might not be able to present your work easily.
