In this short talk for my winning Lincoln Hack Project, I explain how I built a tool that provides teachers to create a set of anonymised photos of children in a classroom setting. These resulting images allow teachers to then embed photos in such things as learning journeys without the fear of compromising the privacy of surrounding children.

Anonymising Photos of Children – © Pete Gallagher – PJG Creations - 2018 The Process  Take photo with webcam  Store Photo  Send photo to Azure Cognitive Services Face API  Receive response with array of faces and their locations  Cut out each face in turn  Blur that face  Paste it back in in position  Skip 1 face at a time  Save 1 image per child with only their face visible.
