like Google, there are no complex database rules...
You can
update the
search to get
only recent
articles

some full text
articles

away!
Your limits
appear on the
left hand side of
the results and

add additional
limits if needed

Using CKN for searching: find full text articles quickly

  1. 1. Using CKN for Searching Need to find some full text articles quickly? Click on the right arrow below to find out how
  2. 2. From the QHEPS home page, go to CKN using either of these links. Remember, you’ll need to use Mozilla Firefox for CKN Getting started
  3. 3. Type your keywords into the discovery search box - this search works just like Google, there are no complex database rules to remember.
  4. 4. You can update the search to get only recent articles You get some full text articles straight away!
  5. 5. Your limits appear on the left hand side of the results and you can now add additional limits if needed e.g. language, age etc. If you do find an article that doesn’t link directly to full text – click on the find it on CKN icon. This will check to see if full text is available via QH ejournals
