  2. 2. Pre-injury StatusBefore her injury this patientwas a student and also had parttime work. She enjoyed a veryactive social life includingvolunteer work in the church.She was engaged to be married.She drove a car, lived at homewith her mother and with hertwo young children. She helpedher mother with all daily chores.She did not have any relevantpre-existing condition.
  3. 3. Present ConditionAfter her injury this 20 year oldpatient is not currently working,but has resumed her pre-injuryhousehold activities and herstudies. She takes care of herchildren, independently, drivesthem to school every day andcontinues to volunteer in thechurch.
  4. 4. Present ConditionShe has kept up her socialinteractions and cannot say theyare less than before theaccident, but she and herfiancée have broken up. Shecan completely take care ofherself, and can independentlyuse transportation, shop andmanage money.She suffers from occasionalstrains and headaches triggeredby noise, light or chewing.
