The Challenge:
Health Genesis was balancing the demands of a high growth company serving
global markets. Given their product line of nutritional supplements, a lot of the
products look similar. There are multiple packing options, multiple varieties,
custom pricing and a growing list of brands. With an expanding SKU list, growing
order volumes, and additional staff in the warehouse, the old “domain”
knowledge of order fulfillment needed to be optimized.
 Similar looking products with different attributes could get mixed up
 Selling across multiple distribution channels made managing inventory
tricky, resulting in too many back orders, and stock-outs
 Strict adherence to FIFO principles and FDA compliance

The Solution:
Health Genesis embarked on an ambitious overhaul of their core systems. They
selected NetSuite for the core ERP and OzLINK for a fully integrated order
management process. OzLINK extends NetSuite by integrating Magento and
ChannelAdvisor, providing mobile bar code scanning, and OzLINK shipping in the
warehouse. The results include:
