I delivered this message to the Youth and Young Adults of Blessed Word Church on May 1, 2017 during the 3 day (May 1 to 3) L.E.A.D. Leadership Summit composed of 70+ millennials.

The presentation is all about the proper usage of technology especially social media and information for leadership in a "Christian" worldview or perspective.

  29. 29. Just Like any other Creation. We should be using this to propagate God’s word and do the 2 GC’s.
  30. 30. How to Use Technology to Influence Others
  31. 31. Be Human • Connect with people in a deeper sense • Understand their worries and fears • Be there when they need you • Praise! The technological advancement made us almost automated and lost our human touch.
  32. 32. Provide Value • What do people getting out of your posts? • Do people learn something? • Post motivational instead of jokes • Post scriptures instead of worthless worldly things. Technology seems to be more like entertainment than leadership tool.
  33. 33. WhatYou Are Inside is WhatYou Are Outside • Your profiles speaks louder than what you claim to be the real you. • Potential employees do stalk social profiles. • Be what you claim to be in the inside and reflect it on the outside. Your profile is your resume if you will to the world, unbeliever friends and fellow Christians.
  34. 34. Speak Life • Ranting, cursing, sharing negative news, narcistic posts are common these days. • In the midst of this, speak life! • Share scriptures, motivational posts/stories from Christians or even your story. The tongue has amazing and deadly power. Use it as per King Solomons advice.
  35. 35. Level Up • Changed your mindset • Think beyond what you are • Rise up and be what God intend you to be. God didn’t invent technology for your personal consumption. He meant it for you to harness and influence others for his Kingdom.
  36. 36. Live in the NOW • Cherish this moment! • Live your life today, not tomorrow or yesterday • Avoid being Zombies! While the technological advancement has helped leaders greatly. It also had some negative effects. Be aware and live in the NOW!
  37. 37. Technology was not created by God for your own personal consumption! He created it to helpYOU do hisWILL and influence other people faster than in any other time in history. Your mission is to harness it according to God’s view and will.
  38. 38. Leaders does notWAIT for the FUTURE. They createTHE FUTURE! - Jomer B. Gregorio
