  3. 3. Evaporation <ul><li>Evaporation is when water changes into a vapor. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Precipitation <ul><li>Precipitation is when any form of water falls from the sky. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Snow <ul><li>Snow is precipitation in the form of ice crystals. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Rain <ul><li>Rain is water condensed from atmosphere in the form of falling in drops. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Hail <ul><li>Hail is precipitation in the form of spherical or irregular pieces of ice larger than 5 millimeters in diameter. </li></ul>
  8. 8. Surface Runoff <ul><li>Surface runoff is when soil is infiltrated to full capacity of excess water from rain, snowmelt, or other sources flows over the land. </li></ul>
  9. 9. Transpiratation <ul><li>Transpiratation is when water evaporates of of leaves and other plants. </li></ul>
