An Interesting Fact: At a length of 13 kms, Marina beach is the longest beach in India and 11th longest in the world.

Originally, this temple lay near to the sea shore but in 1678, it was reconstructed at its current site. This temple has been visited by many a great personalities. An Interesting Fact:The great Maratha king Shivaji Maratha had visited this temple in 1667.
