This compromise isanactivity of our Erasmus+ K2 Strategic School Partnership Project named “S/He Is
Equal In Europe”and isan ethicagreementthatis prepared for pupils with the aim of reinforcing equality
betweenmanandwomanat school andhome-life, stopping every kind of discrimination, and supplying a
respectable and equitable learning environment.
ARTICLES OF COMPROMISE:
As a student of Selimiye Vocational and Technical High School, I promise…
1. To help my teacher with my all mates in organization and application of classroom rules ,
and to obey these rules like everybody,
2. Not to prevent my mates’ right of education and learning because of my negative
attitudes/behaviour, and not to disrespect to my teacher’s personality rights.
3. To respect to individual differences.
4. Not to discriminate in any way in terms of language, religion, sect, race or gender and not
to use a discriminative language.
5. To call my friends not with injurious and offending nick names, but with their own names.
6. Not to swear and not to use bad language including slang or sexual words at school.
7. Not to assault any mates verbally or physically and not to resort to violance.
8. To protect my younger or weak school mates and to help them when they need.
9. To take responsibility for classroom cleaning without making gender discrimination.
10. To help my family,especially to my mother with all chores and housework, and to share
all responsibilities at home.

This compromise isanactivityof our Erasmus+ K2 Strategic School Partnership Project named “S/He Is
Equal In Europe” and is an ethic agreement that is prepared for teachers and school staff with the aim of
reinforcing equality between man and woman at school and home-life, stopping every kind of
discrimination, and supplying a respectable and equitable learning environment.
ARTICLES OF COMPROMISE:
As a teacher/ staff of Selimiye Vocational and Technical High School, I promise…
1. To respect to individual differences of my colleagues and pupils.
2. Not to discriminate in any way in terms of language, religion, sect, race or gender among the
pupils, parents and school staff ,and not to use a discriminative language.
3. To give all pupils,parents and school staff opportunities to express themselves and their ideas at
school, and to be good listener.
4. To treat all my pupils fairly and equally in terms of rights and rules at school.
5. Not to make gender discrimination in selection of pupils for indoor or outdoor school activities
such as trips, project works, sport competitions , demonstrations, dramas and quiz shows and to
select them in equal numbers.
6. To ask teachers,students and parents’ opinion while setting up school and classroom rules.
7. Not to assault my partner, child/children, pupils or colleagues verbally or physically and not to
resort to violance.
8. Not to think any jobs, fields or branches as belonging to a gender , to direct all my pupils (girl or
boy) to get education in the field/branch they want, and to encourage them for doing the job they
want
9. To give my partner a hand with the chores/housework, children’s care ,needs and education, and
to share all responsibilities at home.
10. To be supportive in the matter of trusting and giving responsibilities to women so as men in work
life and politics, and to struggle for equality of woman and man in every part of life.
