About There is no greater feeling than exceeding expectations or even charting new courses in an unexplored path! While in high school, my classmate told me the 800m and 1,500m races were reserved only for athletes and since I wasn’t on the athletic team, he did not expect me to compete. I went on to finish 3rd in both races consisting of at least 20 people. While I proved him wrong, I had to admit to myself that the process I went through during this time included training harder than I thought I had in me, and not only watching what I ate, but also preparing myself mentally. It was nothing short of grueling. I thought I could apply this same level of resilience to any situation I encounter...
