 There are more available jobs in transport.
 Why?:
   Transport firms are usually small.
   There isn’t any demand for media businesses
   Tourism season is over.
   Truck drivers are needed because there are many
    building sites in Kuopio, for example the new Kallavesi
    bridges.
 We are looking for restaurant chefs and reception
  clerks for a restaurant and hotel in connection with a
  new amusement park called “Neulandia”. You have to
  be at least 18 years old and you must have education
  for this job. You have to be multilingual, social and
  hard-working.
    Job description includes different customer service
  forms and other skills needed in a hotel. Chefs need to
  deal with raw materials and cooking and you should
  have hygiene passport and experience from the
  branch.
 Advertisement will be published in newspapers (Savon
    Sanomat, Helsingin Sanomat) and in the
    websites(mol.fi, oikotie.fi, facebook.com).
   Many people will notice the job advertisement.
   In the newspapers we will publish the ad once and in
    the web it is going to be for about a month.
   It is relevant to know several languages, because
    customers can be from other countries.
   You have to be social and hard working at customer
    service, because you are working with people all the
    time.

I apply for a restaurant cook´s job in Neulandia. I´m a 30-year-old chef from Kuopio.
Education:
I graduated Kajaani music orientated high school in spring 1994. After that I got in to
vocational school to study for the hotel and restaurant branch. I finished the army in
1998, I served in Kainuun Prikaati. Then I got in to the University of Tartu to study to be a
chef.
Experience:
After I graduated from the university, I moved back to my hometown Kajaani and I
worked in restaurant OS where I was employed for 4 years. Then I moved to Kuopio and
went to Ravintola OS Kuopio where I worked for 2 years.
 Good recommendations
 You should tell something about yourself, something
  the boss can`t read from CV.
 You can tell what you have done in your past jobs.
 You can mention what you do in your spare time.
 The education
 Job experience
 Special skills (language skills, is capable to cook all
  kinds of food, skill to use computer programs for
  travelling, marketing skills, etc.)
 How he/she tells about himself/herself in the cover
  letter.
 This is the way how we choose candidates for the job
  interviews.

How an employer identifies potential suitable employees in Finland

  • 2.  The most available 5 job  The 5 most wanted jobs positions in the small and medíum business firms in in the media, transport and media, tourism, transpor tourism: t business firms:  Bus drivers and car drivers  Truck drivers Information wasn`t  Mail men available.  In media and tourism business firms no jobs available.
  • 3.  There are more available jobs in transport.  Why?:  Transport firms are usually small.  There isn’t any demand for media businesses  Tourism season is over.  Truck drivers are needed because there are many building sites in Kuopio, for example the new Kallavesi bridges.

  • 5.  We are looking for restaurant chefs and reception clerks for a restaurant and hotel in connection with a new amusement park called “Neulandia”. You have to be at least 18 years old and you must have education for this job. You have to be multilingual, social and hard-working.  Job description includes different customer service forms and other skills needed in a hotel. Chefs need to deal with raw materials and cooking and you should have hygiene passport and experience from the branch.
  • 6.  Advertisement will be published in newspapers (Savon Sanomat, Helsingin Sanomat) and in the websites(mol.fi, oikotie.fi, facebook.com).  Many people will notice the job advertisement.  In the newspapers we will publish the ad once and in the web it is going to be for about a month.  It is relevant to know several languages, because customers can be from other countries.  You have to be social and hard working at customer service, because you are working with people all the time.

  • 8.  In a good CV there should be mentioned all the relevant job experience and all the education that qualifies you for the job.  The most recent experience is the first one.
  • 9. Neulandia™ Neulamäentie 16 Hotel and restaurant´s job I apply for a restaurant cook´s job in Neulandia. I´m a 30-year-old chef from Kuopio. Education: I graduated Kajaani music orientated high school in spring 1994. After that I got in to vocational school to study for the hotel and restaurant branch. I finished the army in 1998, I served in Kainuun Prikaati. Then I got in to the University of Tartu to study to be a chef. Experience: After I graduated from the university, I moved back to my hometown Kajaani and I worked in restaurant OS where I was employed for 4 years. Then I moved to Kuopio and went to Ravintola OS Kuopio where I worked for 2 years.
  • 10.  Good recommendations  You should tell something about yourself, something the boss can`t read from CV.  You can tell what you have done in your past jobs.  You can mention what you do in your spare time.
  • 11.  The education  Job experience  Special skills (language skills, is capable to cook all kinds of food, skill to use computer programs for travelling, marketing skills, etc.)  How he/she tells about himself/herself in the cover letter.  This is the way how we choose candidates for the job interviews.
