National Customers is an innovative way of combining the efforts of public and private sector in Sweden • National Customers is a Swedish initiative that seeks to combine the public measures to combat unemployment with the commitment of the employers • The goal is to work more innovatively to find the right solutions that create employment possibilities for groups that risk long time unemployment • National Customers creates new opportunities for young unemployed to gain experience and strengthen their position on the labor market

Our vision and strategy • Arbetsförmedlingen - a meeting place for opportunities • To help the groups who have weak links on the labour market, the youth • Develop and adapt working methods in order to meet employers´demand for labour by better utilising and matchning the skills of our priority job-seekers not yet established on the Swedish labour market, the youth etc • Focus on places and lines of business where employers have difficulty in recruiting, retaining qualified labour or need to broaden their recruitment base

  8. 8. • Tailor made agreement to offer a certain number of jobs or on-the- job training positions • Assistance with recruitment • Subsidies and other employment support Swedish PES Employers Through the agreements with National Customers, more work opportunities are made available for the young unemployed Nationalcustomers The overall strategy is to establish cooperation with employers that agree to offer jobs or on-the-job training for the youth and other disadvantaged groups Wage subsidy Professional Competency Assesment Internships Suplemental vocational training Professional Swedish language Financial support to commuting / moving

Services for employers: • Free advertising in Platsbanken – The vacancy database on the arbetsformedlingen.se website, which has 1.5 million unique visitors every month • Free access to search among about 140 000 jobseekers – Using the “Search for CV” service at PES homepage www.arbetsformedlingen.se • Offering contact person • Support in the recruitment process – Recruitment meetings at the premises of PES – Selection (Open or internal) – Seach/match using the “Sök CV" (Search for CV) service at arbetsformedlingen.se – Conventional jobadds • Help with alternative recruitment solutions – Such as recruitment within the EU/EES and in Switzerland

Targeting business sectors In Stockholm we have allocated responsibility for different sectors towards Local Employment Offices • First to provide designated-/Key account officer… • Responsible for the implementation of business sector week This only apply towards employers. Jobseekers can register at any Local Current Business sectors: • Sales sector • Health and social care • Transportation and Logistics industri • Economy and Financial Affairs • Hotel and Restaurant industry • IT and Communication sector • Education and teaching sector • Construction and energy sector • Industry sector
