  • Même si c'est un artiste masculin... Hao Ping représente la femme dans ses oeuvres (en tout cas ici). J'ai donc rapproché ce diaporama au groupe 'Women in the Word'. Merci pour le partage de cette très belle présentation. Amicalement. Bernard

  2. 2. Hao Ping Hao Ping was born in the Yunan Province of China in 1952. In 1980 he graduated from the Department of Fine Art at Yunan Art College, and in 1986 from the Central Fine Art College. He has been a member of various art organisations and committees including the National Youth Print Grand Exhibition, the Chinese Fine Artist Association, and the Chinese Print Artist Association. Hao Ping's prints have been exhibited at many international events and his works can be seen at Fine Art Museums in China, the USA, Japan, and Europe. As with other Chinese print artists, Hao Ping's woodblock prints are characterised first and foremost by their square format and large size. Most are of 60 x 60cm in dimension but several of his prints reach close to 90 x 90cm. This, coupled with his use of bright colours, often via 15 colour blocks, produces spectacular scenes via his unique melding of the traditional woodblock technique with the modern medium of oil/acrylic pigments.
