Akhmedkhan Abu-Bakar Mikhail Nokhov Gymnasium # 1 Khasavyurt was a Dagestani writer born in 1931. He graduated from the Moscow Literature Institute and later studied script writing. He worked as a journalist and editor and published his first poems in 1949. His first major work was the novel "The Darghin Girls" which explored his love for his native people and mountains. Abu-Bakar used lyrical and romantic styles in his writing and revived interest in oriental traditions. Some of his best known works include "The Snow Man", "The sun in the Eagle Nest", and "Highlanders at Leisure". He also wrote scripts for films and
