Characterization

  1. 1. ProtagonistPrefix pro- means for, or good.Normally the main character in thestory and changes throughout the story.
  2. 2. AntagonistPrefix ant means against.The opposition of the protagonist andcauses the protagonist’s problems.This does not have to be a human.
  3. 3. RoundCharacters are interesting to the readers.We know a lot about these characters.
  4. 4. FlatCharacters are under developed in thestory.We do not know many things about thesecharacters.
  5. 5. DynamicCHANGE is the key word to associatewith dynamic characters.These characters grow or changeemotionally in the story.This is an internal change.
  6. 6. StaticThese characters do not change in thestory.
