  3. 3. TECHNICAL INSPECTION
  4. 4. Pages with Status code 4XX PREVIOUS HOME NEXT 1. Error type "404" → 31 errors 1. What it means: missing page (deleted, wrong address or unreadable). The site has links to web pages that do not exist or are wrong 2. Error Type “Error: Unknown host” → 1 1. What it means: An error generated when the site to which the link is referring can not be found - when such a site does not exist or when its server is not working at the moment. 3. List of all errors of this type: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j2Ds1Un-BmoMqAF98fHDmTXelMYF_dnEhnzTz2wdsBQ/edit?usp=sharing 4. They can also be accessed via the attached CSV file: ”fitpass.co.in_http_4xx_client_errors_20180907.xls”
  5. 5. Pages with status code 5XX 1. No errors with status code 5xx on the site 1. error received when the server generates a query processing error but can not tell exactly what the problem is. In this case, the problem may be any - from a code error on your site to the incompatibility of the server software. Or a simple momentary overload of the server. PREVIOUS HOME NEXT
  6. 6. On-page SEO */ Robots.txt */ 1. Robots.txt → https://fitpass.co.in/robots.txt is not complete enough. 2. Current: 1. User-Agent: * Disallow: . 3. What should be added and why: 1. The first file that search engine spiders are looking for when analyzing your site. There must be put the limitations that tell them which pages can be indexed which should not, and also the XML Sitemap files that describe your site. In your case, there are no limitations - that is, all search engines have access to everything - they will try to crawl every page, real or not, and any possible links to it. 2. Also missing host: fitpass.co.in - in order to limit the crawl budget to this particular domain 3. Also missing sitemap: https://fitpass.co.in/sitemap.xml PREVIOUS HOME NEXT
  7. 7. XML Sitemap 1. There is XML Sitemap. 2. Why is it important: Sitemap in XML format. A list of the pages, posts, and other resources on your site that you want to be indexed by the search engines (most of them), as well as the indexing priority set for each of them. PREVIOUS HOME NEXT
  8. 8. HTML Sitemap 1. HTML Sitemap 1. HTML Sitemap present at https://fitpass.co.in/site-map . 2. Why is it important: HTML version of the XML card. A page that is often done on larger sites to help users better navigate when they do not quickly find what they are looking for. Most often it consists of a list of all pages, posts, archives, and more similar items sorted by type and category. Most often a link to it is placed in the footer or in the 404 page. PREVIOUS HOME NEXT
  9. 9. RSS / FEED 1. There is RSS / FEED. 2. Why is it important: a software mechanism for submitting news or updates from the site to external recipients. They are submitted in XML format.. PREVIOUS HOME NEXT
  10. 10. Non www / and with www 1. The Website loads correctly without WWW only. 1. Redirect 302 is incorrect . Should be 301 2. What it means: Practically there is no difference between whether a site has or does not have www in front of its name. Technically, it should be borne in mind that these are two different DNS records that can point to different locations and are treated as separate subdomains (or main domain and subdomain). Try to use only one entry. PREVIOUS HOME NEXT
  11. 11. Warnings for HTTP/HTTPS 1. The site has HTTPS installed . 1.1. HTTPS is installed correctly, the redirects to the encrypted version is not . It is 302 not 301. That tell the search engines that the http version of the page is just temporary moved and is expected to be restored, so they should not adjust their indexes. There are also mixed content issues with some pages. 2. What it means: Mixed content error is received when a site with an SSL certificate is being searched for resources without one (these resources (links, pictures, or others) have HTTP and not HTTPS in their address). Depending on how the server is configured, either the resource in question can not be processed or the user receives a message that its link to this site is not encrypted. PREVIOUS HOME NEXT
  12. 12. Pages with {rel=”canonical”} tag 1. The site has {rel = "canonical"} tags on pages where this is required. But it must changed. However, because we do not want to index page 2/3/4 of the category archives and we want the weight of these pages to be added to that of the main archives, the canonical tag should be changed to these pages to indicate their main page. Example: On page view-source: https://fitpass.co.in/blog/page/9/ instead of <link rel = "canonical" href = "https://fitpass.co.in/blog/page/9/ "/> we should have <link rel ="canonical" href="https://fitpass.co.in/blog/ " /> 1. What it means: tag - a meta tag that is placed in the header to help tell search engines that this is the "canonical" address on this page. It serves to avoid duplicate content (for example, AMP) pages, or to consolidate the content of multiple pages into one (archive or category pages or very large pages that are divided into parts). PREVIOUS HOME NEXT
  13. 13. Dofollow external links 1. The site https://fitpass.co.in/ has 103364 outbound links that are audited through this report. 1. You have to decide whether to be present or not. 2. If they are present, you need to decide which ones to remove or add a nofollow tag. If you do not want these pages to be visible to search engines and are accessible to users, they must be with a NOFOLLOW tag. 2. WHAT DOES IT MEAN: Type of indexing of outbound links from your site. There are two types - dofollow and nofollow links. They serve to build links between sites. In dofollow these connections have a weight, nofollow no. When you put an external link on your site you have to consider how authoritative this site is and how much such a link would help you. You practically recommend it and put some of the weight on your page behind it. This is not always a good thing. For example, if your comments are open there, everyone can put whatever they want to link to where they want. That's why the comments are either nofollow or all the links in them are removed. 3. The links in the site are links connected with it so it is not a problem PREVIOUS HOME NEXT
  14. 14. Validating HTML / CSS 1 1. Website https://fitpass.co.in/ has the following errors in the HTML validator: 1. https://validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=https%3A%2F%2Ffitpass.co.in%2F 2. What it means: HTML or CSS errors or old commands can make search engines jobs harder and lower their opinion on how well the site perfoms. Examples of such validators: http://validator.w3.org/ and http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ PREVIOUS HOME NEXT

  40. 40. Figure 9. GOOGLE's forecast of what parameters the site can be, after optimization of its speed. According to our audit, the reason for these results comes from the way Content loads - the site has a significant number of scripts (loaded in the head section), which are blocking render and must be loaded before the rest code is loaded. think with Google 3 PREVIOUS HOME NEXT
  41. 41. Figure 8. Page Speed Analytics through GTMetrix A more detailed version of PageSpeed. The main mistakes are the same. Additional points of optimization: 1. The site has a number of small pictures (ot icon) that can be combined in a sprite, so that there are a few less requests from the page. 2. Defer parsing of JS. There is a large JS file - a compression of the js files in the site moved into the footer. If possible defer the loading of that file. Also extract jquery library out of it. There are scripts in the page and in the that minification that depend of it and so there are error in the console ( with $ ) GtMetrix / analysis PREVIOUS HOME NEXT
