  3. 3. The Problem <ul><li>Playa is on the Caribbean coast & is occasionally hit by hurricanes. </li></ul><ul><li>In 2002 the area was hit by Isadore, this stripped Playa’s beach. </li></ul>
  4. 4. The Problem <ul><li>Hurricanes, plus human structures have led to beach erosion, leaving this narrow remnant. </li></ul>
