  2. 2. Know your audience,know your purpose <ul><li>Who is your audience ? </li></ul><ul><li>What are they interested in ? </li></ul><ul><li>How do you engage and interact ? </li></ul><ul><li>Should you be all business,all personal or blend ? </li></ul>

Connect and engage <ul><li>Comment on the posts of others-photos,videos,links </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t blatantly engage in business on your personal FB page-it’s a violation of the terms of service </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t flood your page with business stuff-i.e..... EEVERY listing you have-people will defriend,or worse hide you the same way some of us do with the plethora of FB games </li></ul>

Personal profiles and like pages <ul><li>You can’t have a “like” page without a personal profile </li></ul><ul><li>Use the distinct profiles to maintain privacy-i.e. between clients and family members etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Always know your audience, and tailor and craft your message towards it. </li></ul>

Creating a business page <ul><li>Be mindful of rules and regulations about advertising ,from a licensing perspective, as well as from any brokerage firm policies </li></ul><ul><li>THIS is where you *could* constantly broadcast your listings, and be ALL business </li></ul><ul><li>Be a source of information, occasionally entertaining-get people to connect and engage with you-versus hide you from their feed. </li></ul>

Concerned about privacy ? <ul><li>Privacy,in today’s day and age,should be a concern </li></ul><ul><li>IMHO, the same way you (are/should be) mindful of actions offline,same goes for online </li></ul><ul><li>Be mindful of who you accept as friends-imho I avoid foul language etc. </li></ul><ul><li>USE LISTS AND PRIVACY SETTINGS </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Especially if you are using for business AND personal </li></ul></ul>
