Located on the south side of Coeur d'Alene on the shore of Lake Coeur d’Alene, the Coeur d'Alene Resort features luxury accommodations and an award-winning, 18-hole golf course. The highlight of this golf course is undoubtedly its unique Floating Green.

What makes the Coeur D’Alene Resort Golf Course’s 14th hole famous around the world is the Floating Green. Each day, technicians move this 22,000-ton island green to a different location in Lake Coeur d’Alene using a complex underwater cable system.

This movement turns the 14th hole into an ever-changing challenge that presents golfers with distances that range from 90 yards from the women’s tee to 220 yards from the championship tee. After hitting onto the green, golfers must take a short boat ride to set up their next shot.
