STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING DESIGN Maryland Live Casino and Parking Structure Hanover, MD 6-story precast concrete parking structure over top of a 300,000 SF steel framed casino with a steel framed partial basement housing the BOH spaces. The Casino structure is 300 feet wide by 1000 feet long and the gross area of the parking above the Casino is approximately 1,700,000 SF. • Highly aggressive “fast track” schedule that included design and construction to be completed in just over a year. • 48 feet x 60 feet typical bay spacing for casino and parking. Steel framed casino floor and roof with precast concrete columns to facilitate speed of erection for the precast concrete parking garage. • 120 foot clear span Porte Cochere Structure with 50 foot cantilever entry feature wall. • Shallow (spread footing) foundation with “dynamic compaction” soil improvement utilized to increase bearing capacity.

He has completed over 300 property condition assessment and construction loan monitoring reports and engineering inspections throughout the country. He has been responsible for preparing numerous civil engineering site plan packages for national retailers including 7-Eleven & Lowe’s Home Improvement Stores in addition to various banks such as Wachovia and Bank of America throughout the Long Island and New York metropolitan area while managing the development process associated with all required approvals from various municipal jurisdictions. In this role, his staff prepared over 100 Conceptual Plans for 7-Eleven in the Long Island region. He has experience with structural evaluations of buildings and has designed various styles of mechanically stabilized earth retention walls.
