France was the only country where hybrid cloud was more popular among small than large businesses. Security is primarily a motivation for cloud adoption among CIOs in France and Germany. In the UK, security is primarily a motivation for other members of the C-suite. On average, IT managers are less likely to chose security as a motivation for cloud adoption than CIOs and other members of the C-suite

More future-looking workloads that are required to process data, like analytics, disaster recovery and SaaS applications, are used far less The majority of respondents across EMEA mainly use cloud services for secondary workloads that are data-heavy like storage, backups and file storage
