If they are sharing links via then you can analyse the statistics for those links, by just adding a + to the end of the link. I.e: becomes </li></ul><ul><li>You will be able to discover how many people are actually clicking on the link, where people are located and when the link is being clicked. </li></ul>

There is no point just trying to use social networks for link building, but also gaining increased visitor traffic. </li></ul><ul><li>If they created an article that was shortened and shared elsewhere, look at the sources where the clicks came from. This presents you not only with an additional location to try and build links via, but also could be a location where potential clients are visiting. </li></ul>
