Increasing 550% since 1999, ten times the growth in the fast-food industry. 2. Exceeding its five-year compound annual growth rate of 11.7% in one year (2014) – suggesting ongoing growth potential continues. 3. Climbing 12.8% to $30 billion in annual sales in 2014 – nearly double the other restaurant segment’s growth rate.
