  10. 10. My View of the Market This year has been a strong year in the local real estate market. Sales year-to-date are up 23% compared with last year. Inventory has been low all year and when low inventory is coupled with high activity the result is frustrated buyers. Currently approximately 40% of active listings are under contract.
