WHAT IS THE
ETHOS OF THE
WEEKLY OF
VILNIUS?
Vilnius University Library
THE WEEKLY OF VILNIUS’ analytical news reports on
Lithuania are well-balanced and honest in coverage
and opinion. Its editorial team does “not” adhere to
any prescribed local views or opinions since it is a
fully independent, nonprofit, advertisement-free,

THE WEEKLY OF VILNIUS provides timely important
news reports on Lithuania. It acts as a news filter for
its readers and only selects the news reports that
address the specific concerns of its foreign
institutional audience.
THE WEEKLY OF VILNIUS provides in-house authored
news reports, often supported by additional in-house
research, augmented with analyses & commentary,
and supported by notes, data tables, and graphs.
THE WEEKLY OF VILNIUS often provides “exclusive”
news reports that are not reported by Lithuania’s
English-language wire services or news portals.
THE WEEKLY OF VILNIUS is the only provider in
Lithuania of well-researched & in-depth articles that
focus on reviewing & analyzing major political &
economic events in Lithuania, such as elections,
breaking news, major political or economic
developments and crises, among others.
THE WEEKLY OF VILNIUS is the only provider in
