NeISS City Dashboard

  1. 1. CITYDB (dashboard/database) A new NeISS Workpackage
  2. 2. Provides a state of the art look at the city - access to realtime, harvested, mined and simulated data feeds. Six Months - Five Cities / Four Sections - Web Based London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Belfast and Leeds
  3. 4. CityDB Live Unique live view of the current state of the city News/Weather/Tweets/Four Square/ Transport/Research Outputs/Blogs - Geolocated Information
  4. 5. CityDB Store Linking in access to the London Data Store (GLA - specifically for London) and data from other government related sources for the relevant cities. The list of available data will update automatically as new datasets are found via the CityDB online data crawler.
  5. 6. CityDB Surveyor A web and mobile data collection tookit based around SurveyMapper to collect data at either borough, ward or street level resolution. All results and uploads will be integrated into the CityDB Store, this has notable relevance for cities that do not have their own central repository (ie, outside of London).
  6. 7. CityDB Future Simulated output based on NeISS related output for various cities. This will allow, for example, current housing demand to be visualised alongside future demand according to selected criteria.
