Still imagery is constantly the number one reason people visit Navy.mil by a margin of 2 to 1.
Last year, more than 15,000 images were selected and posted on Navy.mil.

In an effort to highlight the importance of outstanding imagery, and recognize the talents of or
Navy men and women behind the camera, Navy Visual News has created this special photo
edition of Navy Imagery Insider.

This issue showcases 100 of the best photos on Navy.mil from 2010, and we would like to hear
from you by voting for your favorite.

Photographs are numbered 1 to 100; vote for your favorite by going to the following website
to register your vote http://tiny.cc/NVNS. If Internet access is a challenge [e.g. at sea], please
e-mail your selection to navyvisualnews@navy.mil; one vote per participant please.

If you’re submitting your vote by email please add “Photos of the Year” to the subject line and
the corresponding “number” of the image you have selected.

The top three winners will be published in the March-April 2011 edition of Navy Imagery Insider
and placed on display in the offices of the Chief of Naval Operations, and Chief of Information.
CHINFO will also award a letter of commendation to each of the top three winners.

Judging opens on Feb. 9, 2011 and will close Mar. 9, 2011 at 2400 EST.
