The textile company F. Engel K/S was founded in 1927 as a family
business. It was extended in 1985 with Deerhunter Outdoor
Clothing, an obvious step in light of the Engel family’s enthusiasm
for hunting. A passion which means that the products come into
being out of a desire to create them, and that our company is
not just a business, but a way of life. Our motto is – hunting! Our
vision of creating quality products with a high degree of comfort
means that Deerhunter is now represented in over 30 countries,
and that in 2009 Deerhunter was granted a Royal Warrant to
supply Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Household, an
appointment we are extremely proud of. We take immense
pride in delivering first-class products to all hunters – whatever
they hunt and their hunting traditions.

Das Textilunternehmen F. Engel K/S wurde 1927 als Familien-unternehmen

durch Deerhunter Outdoor Clothing, da Mitglieder der Familie
Engel passionierte Jäger sind. Die Produkte spiegeln daher
die Passion und Lust und an der Jagd wider und sind nicht
nur Waren, sondern Ausdruck eines Lebensstils. Das Thema
„Jagdvergnügen“ steht ganz oben. Dank unseres hohen
Anspruchs, nur hochwertige und bequeme Produkte anzubieten,
ist unser Unternehmen bereits in über 30 Ländern vertreten.
Dies führte 2009 sogar zur Auszeichnung „Königlich Dänischer
Hoflieferant“, worüber wir sehr stolz sind. Wir setzen alles daran,
Jägern aller Art nur erstklassige Produkte anzubieten.

L’entreprise textile F. Engel K/S a été fondée en 1927 en tant

Danemark, un titre dont nous sommes très fiers. Pour nous,

No benchwarmers at Deerhunter
A Deerhunter employee could certainly have been
pictured sitting in the chair, but it’s empty – for the
simple reason that none of us like sitting around for
any length of time. We don’t have any benchwarmers
at Deerhunter.
We know that we have to get off our bottoms to
create the best products as nothing happens by itself!
We also know that while theory is one thing fact is
another, so to ensure that our products match the
high quality we expect when we go hunting we have
to test the clothing out in the field, which is also why
the chair is empty.
Auf dem abgebildeten Sessel könnte ein Mitarbeiter von Deerhunter
gesessen haben. Dem ist aber nicht so, denn niemand von uns kann
lange still sitzen. Wenn wir am Schreibtisch sitzen, arbeiten wir die
neuen Entwürfe aus. Uns ist natürlich klar, dass Dinge, die als Entwurf
gut sind, in der Praxis noch lange nicht perfekt sind. Viele Mitarbeiter
sind Jäger und damit auch in der Praxis zuhause.

Uns ist auch klar, dass zwischen Theorie und Praxis ein Unterschied
besteht. Die Jagdbekleidung wird zunächst auf dem „Reißbrett“ ent-worfen
und dann in der Praxis - also vor Ort im Jagdrevier bei Wind
und Wetter - intensiv getestet und wenn es nötig ist ständig im Detail
verbessert. Deshalb gibt es auch Jacken und Hosen in der 2. oder
3. Generation bei Deerhunter.

Chez Deerhunter, personne ne reste sur le banc de touche. Nous sa-vons
que ce n’est pas en restant assis que nous allons créer le meilleur
produit. Ça ne se fait pas tout seul ! Nous savons aussi que la théorie
est une chose et la pratique une autre. Ainsi pour s’assurer que nos
produits répondent aux normes que nous-mêmes souhaitons pour
aller à la chasse, il nous faut les tester sur le terrain, là où ça se passe.
C’est pourquoi ce siège reste vide.

“It is our passion for hunting and the great outdoors
that drives us to new experiences and adventures,” says
Michael, who is a professional huntsman together with Carina,
who shoots the pictures.
Carina adds: “Even though I don’t hunt myself, I’m fascinated
by hunting expeditions, both by the act of downing the prey,
but also by the thrilling atmosphere and the stunning scenery.
My task is to communicate the sense of adventure and
photograph the dream which everyone, both hunter and
non-hunter, will find beautiful.”
Deerhunter has decided to follow this interesting couple on
their adventurous hunting journeys around the world.

im Bild festzuhalten, so dass es den Jäger ebenso wie den
Nichtjäger berührt.”
Deerhunter hat beschlossen, dieses interessante Paar
zukünftig auf ihren abenteuerlichen Jagdreisen rund um
den Globus zu begleiten.

Carina ajoute : “Bien que je ne sois pas moi-même chasseur,

moment présent où l’on appuie sur la détente, mais aussi par
l’atmosphère fascinante et les magnifiques paysages.
Ma mission est de relater ce qu’il y a de magique en perpétuant
le rêve que chaque chasseur et chaque amoureux de la nature
trouvera magnifique”.

engineered camouflage pattern designed specifically for
spring, summer and early autumn, i.e. for deer hunting.
Perhaps you’re dreaming of a hunting trip? Test this outfit
for yourself; it is lightweight and extremely comfortable.
The New Game outfit consists of fleece trousers,
waistcoat and jacket, as well as a reversible jacket –
one side designed for hunting, the other for leisure use.
The outfit is produced from a stretchy material which is
quick-drying and features the special Deerhunter
Stormliner® membrane that keeps out the wind, while
at the same time allowing your body to breathe. So no
need to take your jacket off in the woods; with that
camouflage, it would be quite difficult to find it again!

Equipt® pixelation, which is multifunctional, changes like a
chameleon and blends in with nature. With this camouflage, the prey
will not be able to see how close the hunter really is, which increases
your chances of getting really close to the prey. Equipt® adapts to nature
with its multi grey/brown and green shades – whether it is on the open
plain or in the forest areas. The pattern is changing constantly and
doesn’t really show a motif, but because of the pixelation, it adapts to
the shapes and colors in nature and becomes a part of it. Equipt® is
the best choice for the serious hunter, who wants the best possible
camouflage and who only settles for the best.
Equipt® ist ein Pixelmuster, das sich – wie ein Chamäleon – farblich
verändert und den Träger somit perfekt tarnen kann. Es erschwert dem
Wild die Entfernung zum Jäger abzuschätzen und man kann extrem
nah heranpirschen. Dank der grauen, braunen und grünen Farbtöne der

der Umgebung. Equipt® ist ideal für Jäger, die sich optimal tarnen

ALMATI - The ultimate hunting apparel
for the active hunter
Almati is the ultimate hunting suit – with the best details
and the latest textiles within functional clothing. The suit
has been developed for the active hunter who demands
high quality as regards fit and comfort as well as protection
against the elements.
Almati features a Deer-Tex® Performance Shell membrane,
which is 100% wind and waterproof while still allowing the
body to breathe. The outer fabric is four-way stretch for
greater freedom of movement.
The trousers have Cordura-reinforced trimming on knees.
Detachable knee-pads available. The suit has waterproof
zips, a radio pocket and cartridge pockets.
As accessories, it is possible to buy a fleece jacket and
trousers: ”Sundsvall” from Deerhunter. The Sundsvall fleece
jacket and trousers easily zip into the Almati suit for extra
insulating comfort. The two combination possibilities mean
that the Almati suit can be used at temperatures ranging
from -10°C to 20°C.
The Almati jacket features integrated orange bands for
placing around the upper arm for extra visibility when
hunting.

Über Reißverschlüsse lassen sich die Sundsvall-jacke und –
hose leicht als Wärmeschutz in das Almanti-Set integrieren.
Mit diesen Kombinationsmöglichkeiten ist das Almanti-Set
bei Temperaturen von -10 bis +20 Grad Celsius einsetzbar.
Die integrierten orangefarbenen Signalbänder am Oberarm
de Jacke gewährleisten gute Sichtbarkeit während der Jagd.

Cumberland is Deerhunter’s totally unique autumn wear in
a modern mix. The set is designed to be worn by all – includ-ing
the traditional hunter looking for a trendy hunting outfit.
Most animals have monochrome vision, so they do not
register colours in the same way as humans. They see
contrasts! Consequently, the fact that the clothing is orange
will not affect the hunting; on the other hand, it helps you
and your fellow hunters to see one another clearly.
Thinsulate Platinum Flex is a highly elastic insulation that
stretches 40 per cent in all directions yet returns to shape
without creasing. The unique fabric is used in insulation,
seams and mesh linings, making the Cumberland trousers
and both the short and long versions of the jacket extremely
suitable for hunting on the move. The sturdy winter jacket is
also the result of another wish, to create a more lightweight
winter jacket with the same high heat-insulating properties.
Cumberland is supplied in several variants: A vest with and
without reflective edging and with a Deerhunter® Stormliner
membrane. Trousers with reinforcements and three different
jackets to ensure freedom of choice. The set is 100% water-proof,
windproof and breathable. With a Deerhunter Colmar
fleece, you are perfectly dressed for lots of good hunting.

Die meisten jagdbaren Tiere erkennen nur Schwarz-Weiß-
Töne bzw. deren Kontraste und nehmen Farben - anders
als wir Menschen - meist als Graustufen war. Signal- bzw.
orangefarbene Kleidungsstücke nehmen die Tiere also gar
nicht als solche war. Wir Jäger hingegen sehen einander
deutlich eher und besser wenn wir Signalkleidung tragen.
Thinsulate Platinium Flex ist eine neuartige elastische
Isolierung, die sich in alle Richtungen um 40% dehnen
lässt und wieder zusammenzieht, ohne dabei Falten zu
bilden. Dieser dehnbare, multifunktionale Stoff wird in
der Cumberland Serie für die Isolierung, die Nähte und
das Meshfutter verwendet. Deshalb sind die Hose und
alle Ausführungen der Jacke besonders gut für die Jagd in
Bewegung geeignet. Die kräftigere Winterjacke trägt dem
Wunsch vieler Kunden nach einer äußerst leichten, aber
dennoch sehr gut isolierenden, vollwertigen
Winterbekleidung Rechnung.
Die Cumberland Serie umfasst: Eine Weste mit und ohne
Reflexpaspeln und mit Deerhunter Stormliner Membran.

Cumberland est un vêtement d’automne unique de
Deerhunter, avec un mélange contemporain. L’ensemble

chasse en mouvement. Ce robuste blouson d’hiver répond
à un autre souhait : créer un blouson d’hiver léger sans
compromettre ses propriétés thermiques.

Deerhunter® has designed the Smallville 2.G range for
the demanding huntsman and dog handler who needs a
solid and comfortable hunting outfit that is suitable for all
weather conditions and outdoor challenges.
The Smallville 2.G range is supplied with or without
Hitena™ reinforcement. Hitena™ is an extremely durable
material which enables the huntsman to move about in all
kinds of terrain. This high-tech material is used in sports-wear
and other extreme sports where extra protection in
specific places is required. Hitena™ has a breathable
coating which is dirt-resistant while protecting the body
in extreme weather conditions.
The jacket, trousers, cap, hat and gloves are made with
a breathable Deer-Tex® Membrane, making them wind
and waterproof and breathable.
Other features include: YKK® zips, detachable hoods,
waterproof zips, anti-slip protection on the shoulders and
numerous practical pockets. The trousers have a high
back made of fleece which keeps the lower back warm.
Elasticated waist and stylish, functional pockets.
Matching hat, cap and gloves complete this
comprehensive range.

Sportbekleidung für Extremsportarten eingesetzt, wenn
es darum geht, stark strapazierte Stellen zu schützen.
Die atmungsaktive Beschichtung von Hitena™ ist
schmutzabweisend und schützt den Körper vor
extremen Witterungseinflüssen.
Jacke, Hose, Hut, Cap und Handschuhe sind mit eine
atmungsaktiven Deer-Tex® Membran ausgerüstet, die
wind- und wasserdicht sowie atmungsaktiv ist.
Sonstige Ausstattungsmerkmale: YKK-Reißverschlüsse,
abnehmbare Kapuze, wasserdichte Reißverschlüsse,
Antirutsch-Schutz auf den Schultern und viele praktische
Taschen. Die Hose hat ein hoch geschnittenen Rücken aus
Fleece, der den Lendenbereich warm hält. Gummizug im
Bund und viele funktionelle Taschen.

est ainsi à la fois impermé-able, coupe-vent et permet au
corps de respirer.
Autres fonctions, telles que : fermetures à glissière YKK®,
capuche amovible, fermetures à glissière étanches,
protection antidérapante sur les épaules et de nombreuses
poches utiles. Le pantalon comporte un dos montant
molletonné pour tenir chaud sur les reins. Taille élastique,
poches fonctionnelles et élégantes. Chapeau, casquette
et gants assortis complètent cette gamme.

MONTANA 2.G UPGRADED -
A multifunctional hunting outfit that can be
adapted to suit all kinds of weather conditions
The Deerhunter® Montana range is flexible and tailored
clothing designed to be worn layer on layer. Montana
makes it easy to adapt your clothing to suit the weather
conditions. The detachable Deer-Tex® membrane means
that the jacket and trousers are wind and waterproof, and
breathable.
The jacket and trousers are produced in noiseless micro
suede material with water-resistant impregnation and a
soft, warm peach finish. The new version has more pocket
details and YKK zippers.
The multifunctional jacket has a detachable fleece inner
jacket. The trousers have a high, body-hugging waist to
keep you warm. The jacket and trousers both have a
detachable Deer-Tex® membrane.
The range is available in green and camouflage. We have
chosen the latest Realtree AP camouflage pattern, which
we at Deerhunter® believe is perfect for this range, as it is
adapted to match autumn and winter colours.
Diese Serie ist Dank der Mehrlagentechnik sehr flexibel
einsetzbar. Man kann sie bequem den jeweiligen
Witterungsverhältnissen anpassen.
Jacke und Hose bestehen aus einem geräuscharmen,
seidenweichen und wasserabweisenden Micro-Suede-
Gewebe. Das aktuelle Modell verfügt über noch mehr
praktische Taschen und jetzt auch YKK-Reißverschlüsse.
Die Deer-Tex® Membran und die Fleeceinnenjacke der
vielseitig verwendbaren Jacke lassen sich je nach
Einsatzzweck und Witterungsbedingungen aus- oder
einzippen. Die Hose mit dem höher geschnittenen
Rückenbund hält die Nierenpartie warm und ist durch die
zippbare Deer-Tex® Membrane universell einsetzbar.
Jacke und Hosen sind in Grün und Tarn erhältlich. Wir
haben uns bei der Tarnfarbe für das Muster AP Realtree
entschieden, das mit seinen herbstlichen Farbtönen sehr
gut zu dieser Serie passt.

amovible.
La gamme est disponible en vert et en motif camouflage.
Nous avons choisi le tout nouveau motif camouflage AP
Realtree qui, selon Deerhunter, est le motif qui convient le
mieux à cette gamme. Il s’accorde en effet très bien avec
les tons d’automne et d’hiver.

“Blizzard” ist die Bezeichnung für einen starken, extrem
kalten und von heftigem Schneefall begleiteten Sturm.
Unser Blizzard Set kommt bei der Jagd unter extremen
Wetterbedingungen zum Einsatz. Das Set besteht aus einer
Jacke mit abnehmbarer Kapuze und Hosen, wahlweise in
klassischem Grün oder moderner Camouflage. Sowohl
Jacke als auch Hose sind mit vielen funktionellen Taschen
und anderen nützlichen Details ausgestattet.
Zusätzlich zur Deer-Tex® Performance Shell wurde eine
isolierende Thinsulate Zwischenlage eingearbeitet und alle
Taschen sind mit wasserdichten Reißverschlüssen ausges-tattet.
Auf unsere Deer-Tex® Performance shell gewähren
wir 5 Jahre Garantie! Das verarbeitete Material ist dehnbar
und bietet dadurch eine fantastische Passform und höchsten
Tragekomfort. Um warm zu bleiben, muss man also nicht
mehr aussehen wie ein unförmiger Schneemann.

durée. Blizzard Deerhunter est l’ensemble dont vous avez

comprend un blouson avec capuche amovible et un pan-talon

Bei Tiefsttemperaturen braucht man Jagdbekleidung,
die auch vor extremer Kälte schützt. Die Rusky
Polarkombination beseht aus einem geräuscharmen,
seidenweichen und strapazierfähigen Micro-Suede-
Gewebe.
Sie ist angenehm leicht und warm und man fühlt sich
darin gut aufgehoben – selbst bei arktischen
Temperaturen bis -32°C.
Zu der Serie gehören eine Jacke mit vielen praktischen
Taschen, eine einzippbare Innenjacke und Hosen mit
hochgezogenem Rückenbund. Thermosocken, die bis
-15°C warm halten, Schirmmütze mit Ohrenschützern,
Handschuhe und eine Gesichtsmaske.
Die bekannte Deer-Tex® Membran sorgt dafür, dass der
Körper vor Wind und Wasser geschützt wird, ohne dass
Jacke und Hose ihre Atmungsaktivität verlieren. Die
Deer-Tex® Temp Isolierschicht hält stets warm, sie
speichert die Wärme!
Die Serie ist in Grün und Tarn erhältlich.

à des températures jusqu’à - 15 °C, casquette avec cache-oreilles,
gants ainsi qu’un masque facial pour l’hiver.
La fameuse membrane Deer-Tex® permet de protéger
le corps du vent et de l’eau tout en garantissant la
respirabilité de la veste et du pantalon. De plus, le
matériau isolant spécial Deer-Tex® Temp permet de
retenir la chaleur. Cet ensemble est donc la tenue idéale
pour les activités sédentaires ou par temps extrêmement
froid. Les vêtements de la gamme Rusky ont de
nombreuses fonctions spéciales et se prêtent ainsi à
bien des usages différents.
La gamme est disponible en vert et en motif camouflage.
