The Alliance GELP Global Emerging Leaders Program The Georgetown – ESADE GELP combines the interdisciplinary teaching strengths of Georgetown´s McDonough School of Business in globalization and international business with those of ESADE in executive leadership within a multinational context. 3

Objectives • The aim of the GELP program is to develop the leadership skills of talented, high-potential executives interested in accelerating their career in global business environments. • The program prepares participants to enhance their capabilities in analyzing environmental complexity and designing effective strategies with a global perspective. The objective is to accelerate their professional career and to help them in the transition from local to international management. 5

  7. 7. 5. Learning model: Dinamic learning + interaction • Each module is a “deep immersion” experience, integrating courses and networking events that will broad your global perspective. Doing •Application of concepts through case studies and group work. •In-depth look at strategy design and implementation through several computer models. • ALP – Action Learning Program Knowing • Presentations and in-depth conceptual explanations by program faculty. •Analysis of examples and reallife situations, with practical application. Being Doing Knowing Being • Leadership Development Program is aimed to foster discussion and awareness of the importance of personal leadership and how it allows executives to more effectively lead within their organization. 7
