This is CT scan data image sequence . CT scan is continuous X Ray image through our body . As you know , CT scan is used in almost surgery . Doctors have to image 3D structure from this image sequence . Because our body is 3D, and surgical procedure is 3D .
For getting picture of 3D structure and 3D movement of surgical procedure , VR is very useful . Holoeyes provides VR application from each patients CT scan or MRI data . Holoeyes provides not only presenting 3D structure but also recording 3D movement of gaze and hand , we capture non-verbal informations of surgical procedure .
We are doing demonstration experiment at several hospitals in Tokyo . For example this movie is planning surgical interruption of tumor in Liver . Yellow part is tumor . In surgical interruption , doctors have to cut Liver with margin about 10 millimeter , because not to spread cancer cells in patients body .
Blue and cyan part is veins . veins in Liver has very complexed 3D structure like trees . doctors have to be very careful not to cut veins . By keeping veins , functionality of liver remains .

For example in this demo , team doctor send URL of case by slack . Clicking the link , a QR code for URL is shown . Then scanning the QR code by Microsoft HoloLens , Doctors can access 3D data of case . And they can bling HoloLens to operation room .
