It's not that they are looking for some fountain of youth. They are just tired of hair loss making them look ten to fifteen years older than they really are, and they are committed to doing something decisive and positive about it. Here are some natural remedies for hair loss: • Fenugreek Seeds: Soak some fenugreek seeds in water overnight. Next morning, use this liquid to gently massage your scalp. Leave this for 3 hours before washing hair with normal water. • Egg Yolk and Honey: Massage scalp with raw egg yolk and honey. Leave this for about an hour before washing hair. • Wheat Germ: Mix about 2.5 tablespoons of milk powder, 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of wheat germ oil .Massage it on the scalp and leave it for about half an hour. Wash hair with a mild shampoo. • Aloe Vera: Massage scalp and hair with aloe Vera gel. Leave it for half an hour before washing hair and scalp. Repeat this treatment 3 times a week. • Henna: Smear paste of henna on your scalp and leave the paste for an hour before washing your hair in luke-warm water. Continue the treatment once every week. • Boil some methi powder in the oil, cool it and then apply it regularly on the scalp to prevent hair fall. • Also can apply amla powder on the scalp and leave it for sometime and then rinse the hair with shampoo. • Massage your scalp with your fingertips (not your nails) daily to stimulate and promote circulation to your scalp. • Eat 4-5 Curry leaves everyday in the morning.

This helps break up hardened sebum that is clogging your hair follicles. Doing this alone will help in growing new hair. • Avoid getting hair creams, lotions, styling gels and sprays directly on the scalp as this will clog up your hair follicles. Use a light hold spray if you want • Avoid tight hats and caps as they contribute to poor circulation, depriving the hair of proper nutrition. • Sweat, dirt and grime around the rim inhibit follicle health and contribute to build-up. • After swimming in a pool, shampoo your hair as soon as possible to remove any chlorine residue. As most soaps and shampoos have chemicals, they might be the cause of your problem. Usually the chemicals have a heating effect, and increase Pitta locally. Amala (embilica officinalis), Shikakai (Acacia concinna) are very commonly used in India for washing the hair. • Oiling and massaging of scalp is very beneficial for stopping the hair loss. Use coconut oil or mustard oil at least three times in a week. Certain medicated oils like 'Mahabhringraj oil', 'Amala oil', and 'Arnica oil' are very useful. Put oil on the scalp, and massage gently in the roots of the hair. • The person should maintain a regular bowel movement everyday. In case of constipation, a mild natural laxative can be taken.
