1. 1. NBR MOTORSPORTS 2012 MARKETING PRESENTATION
 2. 2. TO RACE ON THE WORLD OF OUTLAW SERIES IN 2012
 3. 3. NICK BERRY

BIO

While most children have no idea what they truly want to be in life or dream of being a police man or fire fighter, this youngster knew at the young age of five (5) that he wanted to be a race car driver! Not just any race car driver though, Nick wanted to be a World of Outlaw sprint car driver.

Nick grew up in a racing family watching his uncle and idol at the time, Tunk Berry in the northeast dirt modified ranks as well as sprint cars. Nick's taste and passion for sprint cars and the WoO series never diminished and til this day, This young man from New Hampshire's goals are stronger then ever!

While only racing a limited schedule in 2010 on the SCoNE 360 sprint car series, this hot shoe scored qualifying wins, 3 top 3 main event finishes, 6 top 5 finishes and 10 top 10's and two dnfs in only 12 starts with the series.

In 2011 "Quick Nick" Berry plans to race selected events with the World of Outlaws (WoO) sprint car series tour as well as a full schedule on the Sprint Cars of New England Series (SCoNE) with the goal being nothing short of the championship title!

In 2012 with the help of our knowledgeable staff and the proper funding, The NBR team would like to field a car on the World of Outlaw sprint car series. Racing a full schedule and compete for the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the year award.

 4. 4. NICK BERRY

Toughness has always been part of the family, surfacing early in his competitive days. He grew up active in moto-x racing as well as school athletics and flourished in the sport of baseball and other school sports such as hockey, basketball, football and even soccer. You could say the young Berry was a well rounded athlete as well as academic achiever with a 4.0 gpa and having artistic abilities.

Following high school glory, he traded in his team jerseys for a helmet and driver’s uniform racing for his family owned racing team.

At the age of fifteen Nick started racing at the Canaan USA Speedway and began racing at the same venues where his uncle Tunk Berry learned the craft. In 2001 Uncle Tunk stood by his side as a crew chief and mentor to the younger Berry.

 5. 5. NICK BERRY

The same summer Nick's love for sprint car racing and the fact that they had no local sprint car racing to speak of in their area or the lack of funds to go on tour with the family run racing team at the current time, Nick came up with the idea to form a local sprint car series at the tender age of fifteen.

Nick contacted area dirt tracks throughout New Hampshire and Vermont such as the Canaan USA Speedway that Nick was currently racing a mini stock at as well as surrounding speedways such as the Pines Speedway in Rumney, New Hampshire and, Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vermont, petitioning they allow sprint cars the following season at the three speedways.

The hype continued following the talk of a new series and sprint cars coming to "New England". The calls poured in for the young Nick Berry from racers as far away as New Jersey and Pennsylvania and tracks expressed a growing interest.

At the age of sixteen, What was just a dream, Became reality and a New England sprint car organization was formed under the New England Sprint Car Club (NESCC) banner now known as the Sprint Cars of New England (SCoNE) series, currently ran by Mike Kondrat. The series is known to be a highly successful series and one of the fastest and, most exciting touring series in New England and the Northeast, United States.

 6. 6. NICK BERRY

This was also the first time Nick would take the giant leap in his racing career from mini stock racing into a full blown 360ci sprint car touring throughout New England.

As Nick grew older...Like his father, he also earned a living roofing. His days were filled with hard labor on job Weekends were filled with slinging dirt and grit at the track!

After driving for his family owned team and other car owners for a show here or there, Nick decided to run his own racing organization and team for 2010 with highly represented backing as well as family and community support.

This was the first time he not only drove for his own team but also became a team owner and took on another two drivers and added them to the NBR team, In Nick's recruiting he choose Multi-Time Northeast Dirt Modified and Ice Racing Champion, Rick Martel driving the #76 sprint car and another highly successful driver, Chris Chalke, fielding the #26 sprint car.

 7. 7. NICK BERRY

Throughout his years behind the wheel and all the accomplishments he’s been part of, it’s still his family that brings him the most joy. His wife Cassie remains next to him through it all.

They have begun raising their son Kadyn together. Whether it's at their Manchester home or the countless miles they have spent traveling together going from race to race, they have always been a close-knit family.

When not racing, Nick enjoys spending time with family and friends. He still enjoys playing sports, going to the mall, going out for dinner, going to the movies, cook outs and, the beach as any young man would enjoy.

He also likes several other activities and things such as drawing, four wheeling, moto-x, snowmobiling, mudding, go-karting, lifted trucks, lowered cars, talking on the phone, texting, hunting, fishing and, hanging out on the lake in the boat and playing various water sports such as tubing.
